The Department of Operations, Technology, Events and Hospitality Management is an ambitious, large, and diverse department within the Business School.

The BusinessAnalytics team is a dynamic and growing group of research academics focusing on providing high quality teaching and learning across a range of programmes in the Business School.
Programme growth, has led to an exciting opportunity for you to join the team.We are looking for an academic who will deliver high quality teaching and learning across a range of subjects for the degree/postgraduate programmes across the department.
We are seeking to appoint two roles in this area.
You will be able to teach and provide academic leadership on our programmes and contribute to the ongoing development of this dynamic subject area including recent developments in advanced statistics, data visualisation, big data, data analytics techniques and AI Machine Learning along with skills in PL/SQL, UML, ERD and software such as Power BI, Tableau and R.
You will also be able to demonstrate academic teaching experience with a commitment to providing a high quality student experience as well as sufficient breadth and depth of specialist knowledge to contribute effectively to the Faculty's academic development of the subject in the Business School.
In recognition of staff contributions to the University's achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff.This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
